The Orelle–Aussois traverse is a 3-day ski touring journey in the heart of Vanoise National Park, with two nights spent in mountain huts.
An immersive high-mountain experience above 2,000 meters, featuring a magnificent descent on the Gébroulaz Glacier.

Roadbook
Day 1: (+300 m / −1,000 m)
Departure from the Orelle ski resort using the lifts, then gliding downhill to reach the Col de Pierre Lory at 3,129 m.
Skins on, we set off for 300 m of ascent to the Col de Gébroulaz.
The scenery is spectacular, and the descent down the glacier to the Péclet-Polset Hut at 2,500 m is magnificent.
Overnight at the hut.
Day 2: (+500 m / −600 m)
Departure from the Péclet-Polset Hut toward the Brèche de la Croix de la Rue at 2,885 m. This couloir ascent is truly stunning and immerses us in a classic high-mountain atmosphere.
From the top of the notch, we ski down into the Aussois valley, an enjoyable and fairly easy descent with magnificent views of the Dent Parrachée.
A warm and authentic welcome awaits at the Dent Parrachée Hut.
Day 3: (+500 m / −1,100 m)
Depending on snow conditions and the weather, we have several options around the hut:
Col de Labby / Col de la Masse / Col de la Faculta.
This final day will bring a beautiful conclusion to this great adventure in the heart of Vanoise National Park.

Groups:
For us, group size is a serious matter. We limit groups to 6 skiers per guide to ensure the best possible conditions for safety… and great skiing!
